AHS Web Page Content Submission Guidelines

For the purposes of this document the word 'work' shall mean any file or document submitted to the Austin Herpetological Society's Web Page Content Committee for possible inclusion in the Society's pages found at http://www.austinherpsociety.org/. This would also include any photographic submissions.

By submitting work to the Austin Herpetological Society's Web Page Content Committee you agree to grant Austin Herpetological Society a free, unlimited, and irrevocable license to use, modify, copy and/or remove any of your work - in part or whole, for any reason. At no time do you surrender your copyright on your works, but the Austin Herpetological Society are under no obligation whatsoever to compensate you, or to remove or modify your works should you leave, or be asked to leave the Society.

All work submitted to the Austin Herpetological Society's Web Page Content Committee must be an original composition. If information was aquired from other sources, they must be included with the submission in standard bibliography format. This includes books, magazines, other web pages, and any other published documents. Photographs that you do not hold the copyright for, or explicit written permission to use, may NOT be submitted.

The Web Page Content Committee reserves the right edit and/or modify your work as they see fit to either correct mistakes of an informational or typgraphical nature, or to coincide with the current web design standards agreed upon by the Web Page Content Comittee.

All work will be read by the members of the Web Page Content Committee, any changes will be made, and then it will be put to a vote by the Web Content Committee members. Simple majority passes, and your work will be published on the web. Should the vote not pass, your work may be returned to you with a request for changes, or you may not be notified at all.

Content submissions can be sent to AHS Internet Administrator in the form of a Word, Works, Powerpoint, spreadsheet, or plain text file.
